Growling for dog food

Today's listening pleasure has been provided by the Tony Mansell Singers

On saturday we are playing a show in Rotterdam, whose startling modern architecture includes this and this. Rotterdam was bombed to pieces in the second world war by these in these. Until recently it was the world's busiest port; it is now the biggest port in Europe and the seventh biggest in the world. Unlike Amsterdam, there thankfully aren't too many of (brace yourself) these (sorry about that) though there are still a few of these that hopefully don't look as as bad as this or this.

But we won't see any of it because we will only be there for one night.

How are you listening to "Bridge over the Genius of", Mr. Nick? Seeing as how I have your vinyl copy of it, from when you jettisoned all your personal possessions.

Huh? Huh?

I thoroughly regretted selling it to you (50p, wasn't it?) so I picked up another copy from a charity shop.

You thought you'd rumbled me, Mr. Joe. But you didn't.

Or rather, 'but you haven't'. Sloppy, sloppy.

Very much looking forward to saturday night! We bought the tickets to see you perform, but there seem to be a whole lot of nice things going on that evening.

Too bad you're in Rotterdam only for 1 evening. Any plans on visiting Holland again in the near future?

Cheers!

Yeah, it's a real bummer that we are only there for one night. I like Holland a lot. A tour will come up soon, so if you're on the mailing list you'll be the first to hear.

Thanks for a very nice perfomance in Rotterdam, and signing my (eerhm your) cd. Will keep track of the tour dates and hope to see you guys in the near future.

I'm off for a Dutch smoke and a quick listen to the Dreamboat Records album, which reminds me: thanks for that as well Dave.
